Collection Instructions
Collect serum specimens in serum separator or red top tube. Allow blood to clot for 30 minutes, then centrifuge. Aliquot serum into a plastic screw cap vial and send to Specimen Processing refrigerated
Alternate Specimen
EDTA, heparin or sodium citrate tubes are acceptable. Write tube type on label to replace SST
