Specimen Requirements
Collect blood in a red top or green top tube. Do not remove stopper from collection tube. Refrigerate and send intact specimen.
Additional Information
Note that Urine is the preferred specimen for screening purposes. If a serum screen is necessary due to specimen procurement problems, the Serum Drug Screen includes Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, and Volatiles (ethanol, methanol, and isopropanol).
